Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A three-year-old girl was among the injured in the event. Five people went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man for suspected theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT following reports of several people hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered terrorism - caused train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
