I'll dominate 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to publicize the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Attraction

Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
