Nineteen of Medvedev's 21 victories have been won on hard surfaces
A revitalized the Russian player claimed his maiden championship for 882 days with victory over Corentin Moutet in the competition final.
The athlete, a ex- top-ranked player, has had a challenging year, managing just a single victory at the Grand Slams and suffering a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's varied form on the tennis tour - and issues with his service game in particular - led to him falling of the top ten and eventually parting ways with former trainer Gilles Cervara.
Presently training with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the past month - climaxing in a tightly fought three-set win over Frenchman Moutet.
It is Medvedev's initial championship after the 2023 Rome Masters and first on a hardcourt after spring of the previous year.
The win also indicates he has secured twenty-one victories at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I'm at a event with my children together, so to get a championship is particularly special," stated tennis professional Medvedev.
"This championship is in dedication of my second daughter Victoria, because the first title I achieved when my older daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the former major winner, had lost his last six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
Medvedev's retrieving strategy and regular emotional displays on the playing surface had led commentators to doubt if his capacity to play at the top level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has made changes in recent weeks, striving to approach the net and compete assertively, backed up by an improved serve.
He fought back from a disadvantage in the first set against the tricky Moutet, winning 4 of the last five exchanges to go ahead.
The competitors swapped service breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, bidding for his maiden tour championship, gained dominance to push for a third set.
Moutet defended four early opportunities in a tight deciding set before the champion won the break to 15 to secure the win.
Appropriately, the winner clinched the title with a point at the net area, with Moutet incapable to control a volley after two hours and 38 minutes.
